The blue doll is so cute, but I think 九百八十元 (Jiǔbǎi bāshí yuán) is a little costly.

Yeah, really expensive.

I once watched this episode, it's said that the doll is designed by a famous Japanese designer.

Because of this TV program, this doll is well-known and sold well in China.

Hi

In the video, he calls the blue doll 'xiao wawa'. Is it necessary to have 'xiao' in front of 'wawa' to say 'doll', or is that only to indicate size?

"xiao" here means "cute". For example, we always call cat "xiao mao", for it is so cute and lovely.

When you finally decide to buy something, you can say,

帮我拿一个吧(Get me one, please)。

就这个吧(This one is ok)。

买一个吧(I'll take one)。

我要一个(I'll take one)。

好,买了(Ok, I'll take it)。
